CUSTOMISING CLASS - CLASSICS LONGARM

Easter egg 3 of 3

Custom Class item for this year was Longarm/Shockwave, using the Classics Jazz mould.  This concept isn't new though, as the Alternator/Binaltech Shockwave was a purple Jazz/Meister toy with new head & hand.

There was a doubling of the Class numbers this year, to 4 classes over the Wednesday & Thursday... and yet I still missed out.
So I have to borrow other people's photos (and credit them for it of course), just to "complete" this year's BotCon coverage of mine.

As noted by the watermarking (which makes it easier for me to remember where the pics came from), these pics are from Seibertron website.

All parts and tools are provided, as is the instruction book.
People had the option of doing Longarm (with Jazz head), or Shockwave (with Shockwave head).

If this really is the Shockwave head on the tree, it suggests that Hasbro had planned for a future Shockwave redeco with this mould, but never went ahead with it. The cost of adding that head on the tree just for the Custom Class would have cost hundreds of thousands.

***All pictures in this convention report are mine unless noted. Any that are borrowed, have the source credited/noted.  If you want to use/borrow any of my photos, all I ask is for you to please credit the source as well. I try to take as many of my own photos as possible, and usually only resort to using others if I failed to get something, or my photo wasn't clear enough.
